Day 1: Familiarize yourself with your surroundings

Arrive in Dubai and check into your hotel. We stayed at Dukes The Palm because of its outdoors amenities. We were incredibly glad about our choice because some days we just stayed at the hotel. Take a leisurely stroll (or drive) around the neighborhood and explore the local shops and restaurants. Your toddler will love taking in the sights and sounds of the city and getting a sense of the local culture.

Day 2: The Dubai Mall

Visit the Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in the world. Take a ride on the indoor ski slope, or check out the aquarium and underwater zoo. The aquarium is home to over 33,000 marine animals and is a great way to introduce your toddler to the wonders of the ocean. Because of our visit to this aquarium our toddler is now in love with crocodiles and pinguins.

Pro Tip: it's worth searching for ticket prices online on google maps or other sites. We found aquarium tickets for 60% off.

Day 3: Dubai Fountain + Burj Khalifa

Head to the Dubai Fountain, located at the base of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Enjoy a performance by the fountain and take a ride on the traditional abra boats on the nearby Dubai Creek. The Dubai Fountain is a spectacular water and light show that will delight your toddler. If there is something toddlers love is water and excitement, and the abra ride is a fun and unique way to explore the city.

Day 4: Museums

Visit the Dubai Museum, located in the Al Fahidi Fort. Learn about the history and culture of Dubai and take a stroll through the nearby Spice Souk. The museum is interactive and engaging, so it is a great choice for families with young children. The spice souk is a colorful and lively market where your toddler can see and smell a variety of spices and herbs.

Day 5: Wild Wadi Water Park

Take a trip to the Wild Wadi Water Park. Here you and your toddler can enjoy a variety of water slides and rides. The water park is suitable for children of all ages, and offers a range of activities that will keep your toddler entertained for hours.

Day 6: Dubai Creek Park

Visit the Dubai Creek Park, a large green space with playgrounds and picnic areas. Take a ride on the cable car for a bird's eye view of the park and the city. The park is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and the cable car ride is a fun and unique way to see the city from a different perspective.

Day 7: Enjoy the beach

Spend your last day at the beach, either at the hotel's private beach or at one of the public beaches in the area. Dubai's beaches are clean and well-maintained, and offer plenty of opportunities for swimming and sunbathing.

Dubai is a city that offers something for everyone, and that includes families with young children. With its wide range of attractions, activities, and experiences, Dubai is the perfect destination for a toddler-friendly vacation. Whether you're looking to explore the city's rich history and culture, or simply want to spend some time at the beach, this one-week itinerary is sure to provide you with plenty of fun and memories.

Other activities to add to your one week toddler friendly Dubai itinerary:

Hang out at the hotel:

Dubai hotels are an attraction in their own right. Don't be afraid to laid back, take a chill day, and enjoy the many amenities whatever hotel you choose is sure to have. If you're like extra options, choose a hotel by the beach and with a pool.

Try new foods:

Dubai is known for worldly cuisine, and with good reason. You can find cuisine from all over the world and in all price ranges in Dubai. If you and your toddler enjoy eating or trying new foods, this is a great opportunity to expose her to new cuisines.

Watch a sunset:

The dessert or the beach are both amazing places to watch a sunset from. If you are staying by the beach, even better. Otherwise, there are plenty of beaches in the city you can go to to enjoy one of Dubai's magical sunsets.

Enjoy the beach club at your hotel:

We picked our hotel because of its amenities and the fact that it was beach front. If you are feeling tired, don't feel like sitting in traffic, or simply want to enjoy the beach; a beach club is an ideal activity to do with a toddler.

In conclusion, Dubai is a perfect destination for families with young children. It offers a wide range of activities and attraction that can keep them entertained for hours. This itinerary will help you make the most of your time in the city. We hope that you and your toddler have an unforgettable experience. Remember that it's always better to check the timings and availability of the places you want to visit before your trip.
